CATIE offers a variety of HIV and hepatitis C courses for service providers and frontline workers in multiple formats through eduCATIE.ca and eduCATIE+ to build knowledge of HIV and Hepatitis C science.
CATIE’s self-directed courses are designed for service providers and frontline workers who prefer to learn on their own time and at their own pace. All participants receive a certificate of completion.

CATIE also offers instructor-led courses that combine online education with discussion forums and live training facilitated by knowledgeable CATIE educators. All participants receive a certificate of completion. Some of the courses are offered on a regional basis to allow for more in-depth discussions of the issues and context specific to participants.

USask Continuing Pharmacy Education (CPE)

The USask Continuing Pharmacy Education (USask CPE) is based out of the University of Saskatchewan, College of Pharmacy and Nutrition. The program has worked with the SK HIV Collaborative to create accredited online courses that provide a comprehensive overview of HIV for Saskatchewan healthcare and allied professionals. These online courses are accredited for pharmacists and pharmacy technicians.

Saskatchewan (Sask) Stories Project, Learning Modules and Historical Narratives

The Sask Stories Project was a three-year initiative by the Saskatchewan HIV and AIDS Research Endeavour (SHARE) that ran from 2019-2022 and was funded through Public Health Agency of Canada. Sask Stories and the resulting website and database is now hosted by the Pewaseskwan Indigenous Wellness Research Group and is co-led by Drs. Linda Chelico and Alexandra King at the University of Saskatchewan.
Two online learning opportunities available through the Sask Stories website are:
- 1E-learning Modules: A series of short, video-based modules on HIV and Hepatitis C prevention; testing and linkage to care; Indigenous ways of knowing, doing, and being; as well as how to navigate and use the Sask Stories website.

Historical Narratives: A short, documentary-style video of stories about the historical and cultural context of HIV and Hepatitis C programming in Saskatchewan.
British Columbia Centre for Excellence in HIV/AIDS

Clinical Education and Training Program
The Clinical Education and Training Program is designed to provide learning opportunities on the diagnosis, treatment, management, and care of HIV/AIDS and related conditions. Training intended for healthcare professionals, allied health professions, community frontline workers, and students throughout British Columbia, Canada, and abroad. All online courses are free, self-paced, and are based on current scientific evidence and are subject to change.

In addition to the courses listed above, the British Columbia Centre for Excellence in HIV/AIDS hosts monthly webinars featuring inter-professional panels of experts to provide up-to-date HIV treatment and care information.
